"Just a note to let you know how much we enjoyed our 4 day stay. Everything was better than expected. Your lodge, the rooms, beds, meals and hospitatility were great! Our fishing guide Patrick and his new boat did a great job for us and found the fish. The 104 and 171 lb Halibuts were very special as were the limits of King's and Silver's. All of our fish arrived at our destination frozen in perfect condition with some being in transit about 14 hours."

"What a trip! We were absolutely spoiled the whole time we were at the Sitka Seaside Lodge, from the time we landed to the time we left. We were picked up at the airport and then shuttled on a scenic tour through town by the owner to a quiet waterfront setting where the lodge sits.

We enjoyed the view through the 20+ foot high windows that overlook Sitka Sound. We were already feeling at home, even before dinner on the first night. After dinner, we felt like Kings. Prime rib and all the trimmings - 5 star restaurant quality. Everything, I mean everything, was home-made with pride and attention to detail.

Within the first hour and a half we had our limit on King Salmon. Then we fished for Silvers until we had enough and then for Halibut. We came back to the dock each day to be greeted by the owners. The fish were cleaned and sent to the processor. We had to endure this for three days, the same pattern, over and over: Eat well, catch fish, eat well, catch more fish, eat well, have fun, sleep well.

This is the best place to stay, NO DOUBT. If you want to fish Sitka, and have a great time, eat well and catch big fish - this is it!"
